PCVExpo 2025: Results and Exhibitor Feedback

From 21 to 23 October, the 24th International Exhibition of Industrial Pumps, Compressors and Pipeline Valves, Drives and Motors – PCVExpo – was held at Crocus Expo in Moscow. The exhibition was organised by MVK International Exhibition Company, with the Russian Pump Manufacturers Association (RAPN) and the Scientific and Industrial Association of Valve Manufacturers (NPAA) as co-organisers.

The exhibition is held with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

Bauman Moscow State Technical University and the “Electromachinostroenie” Union acted as partners of the event.

More than 190 companies from Russia, Belarus and China took part in PCVExpo.

The exhibition was attended by over 5,000 specialists from 58 regions of Russia and 11 countries: company executives and professionals responsible for selecting industrial pumps, compressors, pipeline valves, actuators and motors for their enterprises.

Audience metrics: 95% of visitors were specialists influencing purchasing decisions, including 70% top managers; 55% were new visitors; 33% represented Russian regions; 5% came from abroad.



The official opening ceremony featured:

• Khadzhimurat Saadulayevich Saadulayev, Head of the Department for the Development of Equipment for Oil & Gas Processing and Water & Gas Treatment, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation;
• Igor Borisovich Tverdokhleb, President of the Russian Pump Manufacturers Association;
• Ivan Tigranovich Ter-Mateosyants, Executive Director of the Scientific and Industrial Valve Manufacturers Association, Honoured Mechanical Engineer;
• Sergey Sergeyevich Labkov, Deputy Chairman of the “Electromachinostroenie” Union ;
• Alexander Anatolyevich Izyukov, Chairman of the Committee for SME Support and Development of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, General Director of Evorus;
• Alexander Viktorovich Shtalenkov, General Director of MVK International Exhibition Company.

The business programme featured 48 speakers and attracted more than 250 attendees.

The programme included the Scientific and Practical Conference “Design and Technological Innovations in Valve Engineering” (INNOVALVE 2025) and the International Scientific and Technical Conference “ECOPUMP-RUS’2025. Energy Efficiency and Innovations in Pump Engineering.” Several thematic sessions were also held, covering various aspects of the development and production of compressor and pump equipment, as well as pipeline valves.
The session “Digital Transformation Trends and Modern Technologies in Mechanical Engineering: Practical Experience” was a new addition to the exhibition’s business programme.

Exhibition Highlights and Participant Feedback

The exhibition showcased equipment in four main sections: industrial pump equipment; industrial and construction compressors; industrial pipeline valves; actuators and motors.

This year, the exhibition welcomed a number of first-time participants, including: VM-Solutions, MK Energo, EnergoFront, Pumps and Seals Research and Production Enterprise, Shandong Zhanggu Pump Industry, Wbgears, Bastion TC, ASK Palyur, Irbicom, ITES, Strongarm, TehnoGelezo, New Automation, Arma-Prom (Starooskolsky reinforcement plant), Сhenglei Valve, Turbo Tech, EuroSnabAziya, SP Energoservice, Erstvak, Infinit Group, Chelyabinsk Compressor Plant, Mogilevliftmash, Yingqiao Machinery Manufacturing, Beijing Valve General Factory, Anhui Lvhuan Pumps, Jiangxi Nanxiang Air Compressor, and others.

Representatives of manufacturing companies noted the strong visitor interest in domestic equipment and the opportunities the exhibition provides for establishing cross-industry connections.

The valve engineering company ASK Palyur showcased mid- and large-diameter butterfly valves at the exhibition. The company’s CEO, Aleksandr Prakhov, shared his views on the event:

“We’ve been on the market for fifteen years, but we’ve never presented ourselves like this before. This is our first exhibition. We liked it. I realised that the most important thing at an exhibition is to demonstrate your product. So we tried to secure more space and bring more exhibits to make sure clients could see that our product is useful to them and start working with us. I believe we’ll receive a good positive response and secure major contracts.”
 
EnergoFront presented comprehensive engineering solutions for industrial and energy enterprises. Aleksey Shurchalin, Head of the Energy Department, noted: “This is our first time here – we decided to introduce ourselves. We’ve already reached several agreements and met many interesting companies that are interested in our services. And I’m sure we’ll be able to build strong cooperation with them in the future. We are pleased with everything and will continue to take part.”

The Stary Oskol valve manufacturer Avangard showcased control, safety and shut-off valves, as well as electric actuators, including the PEP-SAZ linear electric actuators in intelligent, explosion-proof and standard versions. Igor Khakhalev, Head of the Commercial Department, shared his impressions: “Thanks to your exhibition, we’re in the spotlight. We’ve gained many new contacts. Among the visitors were a large number of end users and design engineers. We haven’t regretted being here for a single moment. We’re planning to come back.”

Bastion Trading Company (Bastion TC) presented a new product at the exhibition – PANS-branded pipeline valves, as well as disc, overrunning and combined clutches, and various types of bearings. The company’s CEO, Aleksey Shabanov, highlighted the value of PCVExpo as a communication tool: “Once again, the exhibition has confirmed its status as an effective platform for dialogue with the market. Our stand was visited by hundreds of specialists from various industrial sectors. For us, it was important not only to showcase our products but also to speak with customers in person and understand their current needs and requirements. The feedback we received is extremely valuable for further developing our product range and services.”

In the same pavilion as PCVExpo, six other international industrial exhibitions were held: Heat&Power, Testing&Control, NDT Russia, FastTec, ExpoCoating, GasSuf. In total, more than 500 companies took part, and the combined visitor number exceeded 12,400 specialists.

In 2026, the 25th anniversary edition of PCVExpo will take place on 19-21 October at Crocus Expo.
