On October 24-26 Moscow successfully hosted the 16th International Exhibition PCVExpo "Pumps. Compressors. Valves. Actuators and Engines". As always, the event was organized by ITE Group. The exhibition co-organizers were: The Russian Pumps Manufacturers Association and the Association of Compressor and Pneumatics Experts.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by honourable guests of the exhibition representing government institutions, production and scientific communities.
The inauguration ceremony was followed by a VIP-tour round the exhibition for the following visitors: Alexander Yu. Smetanov, Member of the Moscow City Duma and Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Science and Industry, Igor B. Tverdokhleb, President of the Russian Pumps Manufacturers Association, and other officials and guests of the exhibition. They saw the stands of the leading manufacturers such as HMS Group, Bauer Kompressoren, Turbonasos JSC, Chelyabinsk Pipe-Rolling Plant.
This year the exhibition accommodated 157 companies from 10 countries worldwide, the total area of PCVExpo 2017 was 4,643 square metres.
It had become a tradition that PCVExpo 2017 was held simultaneously at the same exhibition area with seven other industrial exhibitions of ITE: Mashex Moscow, Heat&Power, Power Electronics, ExpoCoating Moscow, Testing&Control, NDT Russia and Fasttec. 15,778 specialists had a chance to visit the exhibition stands.
PCVExpo was attended by more than 3,500 managers and specialists from enterprises operating in chemical, oil and gas, energy, metallurgy, machine building, construction industries and engineering, building, utility network operation, water supply and water disposal organizations.
Regular participants of PCVExpo displayed as usual their new products and developments.
DALGAKIRAN, an international industrial holding, unveiled at PCVExpo its centrifugal compressor of the new range of T2 series turbo compressors designed in cooperation with IHI, a Japanese industrial corporation.
Kaeser Kompressoren was awarded an honorary diploma by the exhibition organizers for presenting its power efficient innovation, SIGMA AIR MANAGER 4.0, a compressed air production control system for several facilities.
The stand of Chelyabinsk Pipe-Rolling Plant Group demonstrated pipes of various diameters for different media, as well as innovative split tees for repairing a high-pressure pipeline without stopping the pumping process.
Gardner Denver's stand boasted the modernized premium compressor ESM 37e, a breakthrough in the production of screw compressors.
2017 is the year of Bauer Kompressoren's 70th anniversary and its stand displayed the respiratory air compressor PE100 with a compact design and an almost unlimited range of applications.
Turbonasos JSC, in its 25th anniversary year and in support of its corporate image presented chemical pumps, natural gas turbines and a portable submersible sludge pump.
Ena OJSC had celebrated the 85th anniversary of its plant and traditionally took part in the exhibition. The stand demonstrated the oil console unit NKA (type OH2) and the between-bearing multi-section pump NDM (type BB5) produced in strict compliance with API610 standard.
The official and traditional partner of the exhibition was TREM Engineering. On its stand the company presented new technologies of valve coating for piston compressors.
The business program of PCVExpo included a conference on the "Development and manufacture of import-substituting valves for CHPs, oil and gas and petrochemical industries: problems and solutions". Arranged by Armtorg media group, the conference attracted considerable interest of the attendees and united speakers with high-level reports.
For the first time the exhibition hosted the "Club of Valve Manufacturing Professionals" that included a course of training workshops and conferences on certification, the comparative analysis of technologies, and challenging issues of valve maintenance and repair. The club was organized by the Scientific & Industrial Valve Manufacturers Association.
The development prospects and the areas of concern of the compressor industry were discussed at the seminar "Development of compressor manufacturing: the main challenges" organized by the Association of Compressor and Pneumatics Experts.
The business program was closed by the annual International Scientific and Technical Conference "ECOPUMP-RUS'2017. Energy efficiency and innovations in pump engineering. Import substitution and localization of production in Russia" prepared by the Russian Pumps Manufacturers Association.
2018 will be marked by the 17th international exhibition "Pumps. Compressors. Valves. Actuators and Engines", which will be held on October 23-25 at Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre.
